It has been a bitter-sweet few days…many goodbyes have been said and many more are still to come.  But, in the weeks to come, knowing I will get to see my family and friends back on Canadian soil has softened the blow.  When we slept over in the village a few nights ago I quickly recorded this clip, but I haven’t had an internet connection until now to post it.  Today the mayor’s wife from the Gypsy village came into town and said her final goodbye to me, which was so thoughtful of her.  I am increasingly convinced saying “goodbye” to people you love and those who have been a huge part of your life never gets any easier.  I hope you enjoy what will likely be my last video update until I return home.
