Although we usually do not visit the gypsy villages on the weekend (unless we’re sleeping over, of course!), today we changed things up and decided to visit a few families there. We likely won’t be visiting this coming Monday, so we were thankful to get a visit in today. Today, as we were on our way out from the village, we passed by a quiet nook so I quickly pulled my camera out and shot the brief video message below. Toward the end of the video, I also included a few pictures all taken within the last week or two. I hope you enjoy, and see you all soon!
As a quick aside, this coming Monday I will likely be helping my local friend and her nephew with the house they are currently building. They are in the process of making the mud bricks for the home, which I looking forward to learning and helping with. Then, on Thursday, our team will likely return to the gypsy village and probably sleepover for one night. As always, we would love if you would keep us in your prayers!
Andrea,
So excited you are nearing the end of your time in Central Asia and will soon be home! Can wait to hug you and see you without a screen between us!
I know you will miss your gypsy friends and those little kiddies!
Praying for you and your team as you finish strong!
Wonderful song in your video as well.
Much love … xoxox
O so soon the screen will be gone and virtual hugs will no longer be needed 🙂 It has been an incredible few weeks here, grace upon grace upon grace, but I, too, am excited to see you, the family, and friends shortly. Can I put in a request for a salmon dinner, or is it too soon for that? hahaha.
Keep praying – He’s hearing and answering in great ways! I can’t wait to share more back on Canadian soil.
Love you infinity, Mom.
Thank you for this update with all those beautiful children! Can’t wait to see soon God willing!
Love to you!
Hi Maureen!
Yes, yes, beautiful children indeed 🙂 My heart breaks for them often, but reaching down, scoping them up, hearing them giggle, and then clinging on so tight brings such joy. You can’t love these little ones too much, ever.
