Hi Patti!
Happy New Year to you, too! He certainly is so faithful, isn’t He? As the clock was counting down on New Years Eve, and a group of us gathered together to celebrate, the Lord just brought to my mind many instances of His faithfulness and He has never left me, no matter where I find myself in this world. I was blown away (and humbled!) with the examples that came flooding to mind, even though throughout many of those situations, I lacked faith or struggled to trust. I’m amazed that His faithfulness isn’t dependant on my faithfulness…He is faithful simply because that’s who He is.
I got home New Years Eve and took a few moments to jot down the examples He brought to mind as we rang in the New Year. It was very spur of the moment, but a powerful reminder to my own heart to press on in asking for greater faith…more opportunities to exercise that faith.
