As I write this, I assume most of you back in North American are sleeping soundly.  I just read a Christmas card that my parents sent me, and in it, my mom referred to a reading from one of John Pipers advent books, “Good News of Great Joy.”  I’ve attached the reading from December 18th, as it was helpful for my heart to read today, and I hope it encourages your heart, too.
